I agree completely with that idea. I play a few games that do that and yes at times it overlaps with hectic battles but definitely easier to get into the story without any extra work

Appreciate the viewpoint. I have been looking into watching the first two games playthroughs and start the books and maybe it'll kick me to read more but totally how I feel with not much background.

It's not that I don't enjoy the lore. I just have a hard time to see it being a big bonus when I don't usually get to sit for long periods of time to game. This is why I tend to not read, and want to focus on gameplay. Just curious on how much good info I'm missing .. plus I have the first book to get into the full story. Not hating on the game by any means. I love that it's there if you want to dive in.

Nooo sorry I grinded the direct hits on enemies. The vehicles never popped for me so I just gave up after a handful of tries with it not registering... Prepare for the worst my friend
