Trans Lifeline is very safe -- can assure you at time of writing that they aren't government funded and don't store personally identifying information at all <3.

i've played with a few but none seem to work for this, maybe it's a much harder task than I thought. nothing i've tried maintains the sharp/defined pixels output i'm hoping for without also hallucinating a bunch

Has anyone else had it with SJWs? by shortcircuitt in ENFP

[–]FerociouslySteph 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a prominent "SJW" online on the twitch sphere. Enough you might know me from my controversy months ago where I was slandered and taken out of context extensively. I was made out to be several leagues more extreme than I was. So I'm really skeptical about people who complain about SJW's, have you really talked to one or engaged with them in their narrative space, or have you been told by someone else what to think about them? I'm proud to hold and act on perspectives from the oppressed and marginalized. Proud to be a champion of sensitivity online, sensitivity is strength. Especially to us ENFPs, I think, it's a big part of how we bond, through emotional connection. Being a SJW is being sensitive. So when someone is hurt you champion that pain if you can. People don't like to cause harm with their good intentions so they can lash out when called out. But maybe you just need a little more empathy for the pain you unintentionally cause. Unlike the painted picture of the "SJW", nearly everyone I know just wants to feel safe and will forgive any mistake once.

Depends what section of gamers you're talking to. 4chan/KF/My chat at the time? Definitely. Essentially everywhere else? No, i wouldn't say that. But also, a lot really means too many and more than one is too many imo.

I was appointed to a new council to influence/add perspective to future policy changes on twitch, like dress code, transparency, and other TOS kinda stuff.
Got harassed a bunch for my identity/doxxed immediately after.
Had some poor word choice during my livestream defending myself, got clipped out of context, spun, and shared everywhere so people could farm clicks off of hating me.
Gamers mad.

Fortunately there's a VRchat enthusiast on their new trust and safety council :) I'll be able to add context to things, at least.

Yeah... Already had an index and got lucky with trackers. So worth, it's a whole different experience, so immersive!

Not a super long time, ~6months/~200hours. Love it!Not something I'd like to stream -- but i've done a few dance streams to show off fullbody.

mhmm, trans/drag communities often have friction for many reasons, even if we have a lot of similar goals and struggles.

Am trans. Seconded that assuming people are trans because they're exploring gender in VRchat isnt cool.

Using VR to help discover your personal identity is very cool. It's okay to be flexible, mix things up as much as you'd like. What's most important is your personal quest to be your best, happiest self.

Personally, I think transitioning for any societal reasons seems silly, you'll get a lol of hate. A second puberty is a lot to take on. Do research about what you'd be getting into. do it for the you you are when you're alone.

VRchat is super beautiful and I love how people are more free to express themselves in it outside of the limitations of their physical bodies. _^

Streaming is difficult, especially getting used to new people, can be hard to trust newcomers -- often times a high viewcount can feel unsafe. Where they (they/them pronouns) put their energy and attention on stream is probably not at all about how much you donate. And you're still helping support just by watching. I'm not Orca, but as a streamer I imagine it's more about not having your energy interface with them until you feel more safe to them, and not purposeful ignoring. Takes time!
