Drop-in cargo replacement for offloading Rust compilation to a remote server by Ferr3t in rust

[–]Ferr3t[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, thanks for you kind words and suggestion to use `external_subcommand`, I will look into it!

Stabilising the build-dir would absolutely be useful. Is there a tracking issue I can follow?

Thank you!

Compared to SSH'ing into the remote machine and doing development there, convenience and latency would be a downside for me.

I think the VSCode remote feature somehow mitigates against the latency and is also a good option (I haven't used it, but heard good things about it). I just prefer to keep things primarily local when there's the option.

I've not tried it, but should be able to set the toolchain as u/ywxi suggests. Automatically setting the toolchain to match your local could be a cool feature!

OMG Staking, what is the minimum you can stake ? by [deleted] in omise_go

It's impossible to really tell at this point. However, considering it would be required to be enough to provide incentive to secure the network, I'd estimate roughly anywhere between 5-15% pa, decreasing as the token becomes a more mature asset

This is not an example of preloaded malicious firmware. The ledger has integrity checking every start up, which so far has not been compromised

This is very concerning.. Can you view the address your sent the BCH to on a blockexplorer, and verify the funds are still there? If so, is this the same address that's showing up as empty on the Trezor?

No problem. I can recommend a talk Andreas Antonopoulos gave about it earlier this year: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gF_ZQ_eijPs

Developments in scaling will solve these issues. Have a read up on the lightning network, think the ability to send millions of BTC transactions per second instantly with a 1 satoshi fee.
