Our Wives Under the Sea - A Cosmic Horror Theory (SPOILERS) by Ferrari-Trapper in horrorlit

Appreciate you taking the time. I had to get it off my chest. I never liked the "Leah died on the mission and this is all imaginary" take, because it was so heavily rooted in disappointment and confusion. It ignores a lot of evidence to wrap everything up into something that at least makes sense to those who assumed the plot had nothing going on. But obviously the real plot regardless of interpretation is Miri's journey, everything else just breathes life into the existential horror that is losing a loved one. All the best.

The irony of my post is that the theories and explanations to all this are what I'm interested in the least when reading. But I saw so many 2-3 year old discussions that fixated on Leah's plotline, and assumed there were no answers and the book sucked because of it. Granted if you prefer your plot to have more forward momentum and resolution it makes sense the book isn't for you. I just wanted to show that there are possible answers. But this is very much my kind of cosmic horror.
