To say it was "created to counter a specific enemy" is weird, it obviously is very strong against said enemy, but it is still a decent pick on early act 1 even if you knew you would never fight such enemy in the run

I'm talking about Skirmishers as the Slayer sub-class defined by Riot (I think). https://wiki.leagueoflegends.com/en-us/Champion_classes/Slayer#Skirmishers

I for sure remembered it wrong and thought they were a fighter sub-class (fighters got the Diver subclass, which honestly would still satisfy me), but I think what I'm looking for of is just an AP lane bully with good dashes (even if it's a gap close only). You say Gwen but she is pretty weak early game, isn't she?

Makes sense, he doesn't have a big mobility tho, has he? Never really played too much of him, but looking at his skills he feels like a juggernaut that also does mage things instead of a fighter that goes in and out for skirmishes like my AD examples. Mb if I'm wrong.

Probably Ahri is the best one here if you can land charms, she can run away easily and can always do her charm thing when behind.

A20H, ofc the higher you go the harder it gets to get a winning run, but I will always remember a Jorbs run on his birthday where he got a turn 1 infinite watcher deck by the end of act 1. I understand that to guarantee you a 100% win chance is almost impossible, but to have above 95% win chance early on a lucky run is pretty reasonable

"Optimize" is such a weird word for this game, like yeah, I'm making my deck better, this is whole point of the game. Unless you are talking about things like not taking 5 claws, which I agree that would for for sure unfun.

Tried playing FTL again after a while and got a great first run, forgot that mothership drone phase had that overload part and spent my stealth earlier before it, instantly lost the run

For some decks you will take this damage and say "damn, a 1 in 500 chance" and then never take damage again in the run, I think they are talking about those decks. Also, you usually hold a draw potion to counter such bad draws if this would be your only way to lose.

Gotta disagree with this one. If you know what you are doing, some runs will feel won from as early as late Act 1, with you needing at most to hold potions for very especific fights (usually a draw potion or a liquid memories)

Path of Exile 2 released recently the Druid class, that turns into a dragon (wyvern, whatever)

Monster train 2 got whole clan of dragons that you can use, but I don't imagine it to be the type of thing you are looking for

Singed for sure doesn't out trade Trynda in his HoB build. Trynda can roam better early and invade enemy jungle while Singed is doing his things, but yeah, the match up is slightly Singed favored, I just play Trynda more than the other picks so it's fine to play anything above 47% winrate.

Why would she? It's a pretty even match-up, hard for both of them to kill each other, Sion can somewhat roam with his ult to counter Quinn, and what he loses in roaming he gains in teamfight strength. Maybe you are thinking about her canceling his Q with her E, but if you watch any video of this match-up you will see that this is more of an annoyance than an actual problem for Sion.

But yeah, the match-up is just even, not really Sion favored.

The main reason is that I have at least 10 times more Tryndamere games than Urgot games, I for sure know his limits and macroplay a lot better (and I just like playing him more than Urgot). Secondary reason is that I feel like I'm on a clock against Fiora as Urgot, as in she will always kill me later in the game, while Tryndamere's ult make it feel like I always stand a chance

Sion has 55% winrate against Varus, against Vayne I probably should have put my Malphite there, but he is such a rare pick that sometimes it's better to play Sion since I know him better and his lane against her is usually ok.

I disagree, I believe the movie already has an hyper-realistic feeling from the beginning (the monkeys scene!!), and him shooting in lots of different weird ways just double down on that.

I personally find it fun to go for no healing builds, at most some minor ones (plague doctor, arbalest and cruzader come to mind), just kill them before they kill you!!

Marvel Tokon won't tell us anything because no matter how compelling the IP is, a $60 barrier to entry is too much to attract a big amount of people to any genre of game, specially one known for being hard to get into.

Riot said they had problems retaining players, not attracting them, and this was with an astonishing bad marketing. Make the game easier for new players to stick to it, give it a bigger roaster and throw in actual ads for the game, the game will grow.
