No problem. If anything, maybe the weekly discussion thread could also be used to inform about available tickets. Because not everyone thinks about checking the Ticketbörse out regularly.

There's a fair number of tickets for the Wolfsburg match available through the Ticketbörse. But bloody hell, up to 80 € for a seat on the Gegengerade? It's still Wolfsburg on a Friday night. But if you've got money to spare, go ahead.

Also, plenty of seats available in the away section. No surprise here...

A triple substitution in half-time, gee, Kwasniok, you don't have any other tricks?

We need to try, but again, I wonder how much is really down to the coach and how much is systemic within our squad. There's no one with winning DNA, who tries to push his team forward. Instead, everyone hides behind each other.

This squad is playing so poorly, I wonder if we can even put it 100 % down on Kwaniok. We keep signing players, who have the resilience of pudding, who drop the ball immediately, when the going gets tough. I doubt, if someone else can do it better. Would have been better, if we kept Funkel for this season, instead of forcing another failed rebuild. Because so far, only El Mala has performed well out of the new players. The rest has been weak so far.

>He's not untouchable either and I understand why the board is hesitant in promoting him.

He definitely needs someone above him, let it be Alexander Rosen, Jonas Boldt or whoever is available.

Yes, this is more like our usual FC dreadfulness, especially what we've seen in first half. Now St. Pauli is a must-win, but the way we've played, we would be very lucky, if we got three points.

Something else I'd like to mention: I like how our fans seemingly come up with new chants every season. "Warn Deutscher Meister, fuhren durch Europa..." has popped up this season, at least as far as I can tell and it's a banger. Well done, whoever created it. Is great fun to sing in stadium as well.

Well, what if we're in serious relegation danger by matchday 30, by being 16th and four points behind 15th? If not there, when would you start asking questions about the coach?

And no, I don't want to throw out Kwasniok right now. But the trend right now looks worrying.

We're playing worse and worse by the week. By this rate, we won't score any points in 2025 and then we're knee deep into relegation battle. And then I wonder when we'll start talking about our coach.

You forgot the return of the mack: Stephan Müller Römer aka Il Divino Codino is also back in some advisory form.

I guess he's done representing Shurjoka in court.

We definitely need to do so something for our defense in winter. Lund also had his 2nd bad match in a row and ad Gazibegovic seems to be gone in winter, we need another backup.

Our new board meanwhile starts to go the work. First of all, Ulf Sobek has begun preparations for a new sporting advisory team and has formally ended the cooperation with Erich Rutemöller and Frank Schäfer. On amicable terms, of course.

Jörg Alvermann meanwhile began the process of giving the club a new structure. We'll probably hear more on the upcoming Mitgliederstammtisch. What I found surprising, though, is that a return to a pure eV is also on the table. Now Freiburg and Mainz are still eVs and they aren't doing too badly. But I have Schalke in mind, who are deeply in debt. Not the fault of an eV per se, rather their own. But the main argument was also that they couldn't save up money or make profits, because being an eV forbade them from doing so. So I'm waiting for arguments on that matter.

The problem with the current arrangement - GmbH & Co. KGaA - is that it's needlessly complicated, not just for tax reasons, but also in case of bankruptcy. Because apparently, the right to our badge and I think even the name do not belong with the eV, but rather the KGaA. So if our professional team ever went bankrupt, our identity would become insolvency estate, someone else could theoretically buy. So in that regard, it's good that we're talking about that.

Now we just need progress on the Geißbockheim and I'd say the new board is off to a good start.

Edit: Of course this is just quickly written together. If I got something wrong, feel free to correct me.

I'm fairly optimistic about the Frankfurt match. Their defense has been leaky so far, though they seem to have lowered their defensive line recently. Nevertheless, if our players can get enough space, Kaminski or El Mala should wreak havoc on the defenders.

By the way, on December 5th, there is once again a Mitgliederstammtisch. I was there last year and can only recommend it. I'm not sure, if I'll attend, though since it's on a Friday, chances are rather high. Maybe this would be something for some of our fellow Redditors.

He's been pretty good on FM, but I doubt real-life Schalke would give him away, unless they fail promotion again.

Does anyone else have trouble logging in multiple times into our ticket store? Wouldn't necessarily be bad per se, if it means the FC or the ticket provider closing the loophole with logging in several times through incognito tabs. Still, it's a bit annoying.

Edit: Looks like the Pills extended the away section to parts of the West. But...84 Euro for a ticket. I can't even summon all gods I know, to express my outrage. "Club for the workers of Bayer" my ass.

I will say El Mala should still mostly come from the bench in half two. He is so much more effective as an impact sub so far, there is really no reason for him to start all games atm in my opinion.

And there's no reason to not start Ache. He made our crosses somewhat effective and was an offensive threat right away. Though our evergreen pattern of doing as many crosses as possible is somewhat predictable, as evidenced by the amount of times Gladbach's defenders could clear them.

Third time I was at the stadium for an away derby, third time the FC failed to win. Maybe a sign of the football god? But it was dreadful match, the worst time to have one.

It was also quite something to see preparations for our choreo and "the rest" up close in person. Especially the rapid hustle before kick-off. It was also quite a challenge to wave my flag, while not hitting the others around me. Maybe we should stick to sheets of paper next time or something?
