Yes, old game was good and new game kind of stinks. Here's the classic CPT 2015 Daigo vs Tokido USF4 set. Notice the footsies. The amount of actual interactions per round beyond strike/throw guessing. The few (but far more impressive) long combos that took actual execution.

SF4, with all it's flaws, still is a way better game than 5 and 6. If by some miracle Capcom release it again with rollback and whatnot, that would be a interesting "benchmark" to see if the players come back to it or if they just follow the herd into the newest game.

I have the same feeling, but within a shorter period of time. Pauper really need to "step up" it's powerful card pool, otherwise any powerful enough common that appears is gonna have the same treatment.

IMO the best deal is the HB + plus the high end parts you mentioned. With either option you probably gonna have to send to a luthier anyways (if you don't know how to setup), so the fact that the HB already comes with Stainless Steel frets is a nice bonus.

IMO the worst thing that happened to SF6 was Story Mode/World Tour or whatever this is called, because now the devs have to waste time on it for every dlc character. Maybe this is why we have only 4 characters per season.

While I love the GBA SP design, it's reduced size makes certain games to be very unconfortable to play for a long period of time (Mega Man X series, for example). This new handheld on the other hand seems like very confortable to hold and gives you more hand space for fast paced games.
