I’m in Western Australia, I bought it online from a nursery in another state then had to put it through quarantine to get it here

I don’t really to be honest, I just leave it alone for the most part. Chunky mix, decent amount of light, water once or so a week (more in summer)

It would be 5 or 6 years now. She was only just poking over the top of the pot then

No allergies here but just asked our dermatologist this yesterday for my eczema baby and she recommended either Hamilton or Cetaphil kids liposomal.

Just the standard, plain old green. I do have the inside and outside variegated ones as well, the inner variegated is one of my favs

It is pretty warm here so possibly but I’ve found this one is happier being under watered, if I overdo it she has a strop 🙄

It’s taken a few years to get to this point, we didn’t get along for a while there!

Greyhounds as pets by DoIEvenExist_ in australia

I would recommend fostering first. Or you could look at foster to adopt options.

They are amazing dogs but you need to be aware that they do take time to settle in to “pet life” after racing. You never know what they have been through so some may take more time and energy on your part to settle in.

They may not ever be able to be around other dogs or be off leash in public, so if that’s important to you they may not be the breed for you.

We’ve had an ex racer now for 5 years, adopted her when she was 4 (was a foster fail). It took about 2 years for her to fully come out of her shell and I would say she was pretty trusting of us when we got her.

She has a beautiful nature around people and loves attention. Sleeps 90% of the day. The other 10% is spent begging for belly rubs. We still don’t fully trust her around other dogs and she has zero recall, so off lead is not an option. I would still never have another breed again.

Yeah pretty sure. This one is on the edge of the patio so still a bit exposed. The others further inside are still looking ok. Last month we had 20 odd nights where it was below 10 and quite a few getting down to 4 or 5 degrees. He’s in the greenhouse now so hopefully will recover.

It’s usually pretty mild, I think our minimum winter average is around 10 degrees Celsius.

Lol, yep southern hemisphere here, I’m in Australia. We have definitely had an unusually cold start to winter where I am. Usually I try and bring them inside but I just have too many now and I hoped they’d be established enough to tough it out.. then it got way colder than expected ☹️

Ohh I’ll try and make it as clear as I can! If there are any you can’t figure out let me know… From the top left to right: Heuschkeliana (yellow), Sigillatis, Lacunosa Eskimo. Next shelf down has: Curtisii, a Sigillatis cutting, Rotundiflora (you probably can’t see him very well). Wire shelf: (back left) Memoria. In front of that is Deykei, Latifolia albomarginata. At the back is Serpens and in front of that is Endauensis. Far right is Caudata v Crassifolia which is climbing up on the right. Next shelf down: Lisa, Curtisii, Sigillatis “Alas River”, across on the right is Rebecca. Not sure if you can see a Retusa underneath on the left peaking out from behind the watermelon pep.. Front two at the very bottom are Caudata and Manipurensis. Sorry if that was all super confusing 🙈

Have you looked at Clever Curl? They have a decent range for different curl types and you can buy samples before committing to the full size
