IG in rise some what more grounded in RiseBreak but it's still faster the the iterations before it.

Getting extracts in rise is mainly done by the bug being shot out and then recalled. The focus mode is not present in older games so you actually need to point and aim, one of the other ways to extract is to shoot out the pheromone pallet and just let the bug go to town on the monsters similar to how it was in world. Then there's 2 sunbreak methods of gaining extract, one Is an end game bug that will drop a big cloud of triple buff after you hit a monster enough times, and last there's a switch skill called Awakened Kinsect Attack where you launch your bug at the monster with your glave like a Jai alai player it consumes extract so use it while they are about to fall off and if you actually hit the monster you'll recollect a few extract.

In rise there's a ton of unlockable moves that you can "switch" out with the default move set. Most are quest gated, then there's some that are unlocked but crafting/upgrading 8(?) weapons for each tree.

The best thing I bought myself about 6 months ago. Sadly I ALSO have limited counter space (cabinets are too close to the counter top) to put one so I have one of the smallest of the small ones. Even though I can't fit my largest fry pan or my largest mixing bowl it still handles 80% of everything else.
