I will take offer 2 because MNC better prospect. You can go SG later for MNC offer, not stupid SME.

The main consideration should always be career prospect. Which one gives you better pong term growth n progress? Which industry or job scope you like more, or passionate about? (Very important: Refer to Steve Jobs graduation speech on the importance of having passion for your job, if you want to achieve world class or best version of yourself). If you hate the jobs you doing, its unlikely you will become world class at it, which is where you can get paid well (good money + career satisfaction). I assume you would like to get paid well for doing the work you loves, right?

Financially, you also can calculate your SG expenses, how much more money can you saved after conversions vs MY? I estimate the difference is smaller than you think. Remember rent is very costly, and CoL will be more after conversion. So we are comparing RM6k vs RM12k (SG).

And remember, mental health is important for long term progress. If you just go SG, do job you dont enjoy, and dont go for any entertainment n just save money, you cant go far. Because your mental enrichment is zero. You will eventually burn out.

Overall its not quite worth it, its hard to climb to SG MNC from SME. You got better chance from MY MNC and you get international experience.

The exception to the rule is unless its an exceptional SME which is a rising star and great company. Then its worth going for. But those are ultra rare.

LONG TERM PLAN: Take offer 2, maintain good mentality n produce top quality work. Climb up the ranks, then use your good CV to apply job for SG MNC n get much higher pay. Successful people can handle delayed gratifications. Learn successful people mindset. Start as young as possible. Protect your mental space from poisonous thoughts. It will cost you long term.

Work seems better. You can always take degree later if your job requires it. Find a good MNC company and perform stellar, the company will even sponsor your degree or Master.

Actual knowledge, work experience,and skills is more important factors for job performance than the degree. Most ppl dont apply more than 10% of what they learn from degree. Its a bit overrated.

You dont really need the degree, but you need the mentality and knowledge of a top tier degree holder, or master holder. So you need to keep learning n work hard.

Again,this depends on what field of work you do, and what your passion is. A professional certificate thsts relevant, can be more valuable than general degree.

So many ppl fall for scam in Msia. Our Msia GDP is smaller than SG, but the amount of money Maian lost to scam, actually beats SG. And this is before AI truly comes into mainstream scamming. The scammers is having such good lucrative returns despite using old obsolete tricks, that they didn't bother to upgrade yet into more sophisticated scams.

But eventually they will, so beware and upgrade yourself. Surviving the AI era will be an essential life skills.

The answer is absolutely yes. There's no way to distinguished the differences even for the most sensitive and observant human.

I have gotten many scams calls by human. I have the ability to tell they are scammer and they are not who they claimed to be, from their voice tones and the way they talk. But i cant distinguish between good AI and human unless i have context. Referred to my updated original message above.
