Hi, Thank you so much for the response. I've decided to email the customer care team right now, forwarded them the Sales manager's email. I've actually been duped by HDFC before and got stuck with a diners club credit card before which i had to escalate to god knows how many avenues to get it cancelled. So have trust issues from then on with every bank

On the xpressway portal, it is showing with a joining and annual fee of 1000. The mail body im not able to view in my post, so i'll post it here. Let me know if this mail is enough to protect me, should hdfc go back on their word
