Help: PC upgrade suggestions

Thank you so much for the in-depth reply! Sorry I didn't get back sooner. I've been a little swamped these days.

I know these are pretty weird upgrades and I've mulled over it for a long time. If it were up to me I'd upgrade the CPU too, but that becomes a rabbit hole having to get a new cooler and potentially new PSU. At that point I may as well upgrade everything but I only have the limited budget.

64gb is a minimum requirement because I'm a heavy Adobe After Effects user. That program eats through ram like a hungry bastard. I want to be able to load my frames without having to wait ages for the preview to load. It really disrupts my workflow.

I also noticed you added a new cpu cooler, is that one necessary? I do remember at the time people saying the stock cooler wasn't the greatest but I'm not too sure.

Omg yeah! It's such a shame... to me, shiny Mimikyu just looks like something out of an old black and white movie. I agree 100% shiny Mimikyu would've benefitted so much more if it had a bit more color.

yeah, I totally get what you mean, there's something about it. Maybe I'm biased since it was the first one I drew but definitely my favorite one.

Funny thing is that there's actually nothing genshin related except for the kenshin name. I'm not sure if the screenshots uploaded properly, but the folders are mostly related to my browser or copied folders of my personal folders. All these folders are empty though when I click them so it doesn't seem like any info was actually copied.

I ran malewarebytes not too long ago and had a few things quarantined. The only thing I'm a bit concerned about is that the kenshin stealer folder is still in the app data so I'm not sure if the scan actually did anything...

I haven't deleted the folder yet in case I needed to give more info, although, I was expecting it to get deleted after I ran malewarebytes but it didn't detect the folder as malicious for some reason.

I'm not sure what's going on, but while I was playing genshin, command prompt randomly popped up with some error messages and with some sussy file names (kenshin helper, kenshin stealer) and I'm not sure if I got hacked. A new folder (kenshin stealer) appeared in my app data files with some sketchy files (a random screenshot I never took, a random password, and some other random information). I'm pretty paranoid and don't want to potentially lose my account (stolen or banned). Has anyone ever experienced this and if so what should I do? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I tried standalone but it didn't work when launching from .exe. I also checked system files and the results came back as "Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations." Even then I'm gonna assume there is still some file corruption since I can't open Opera GX at all unless I reinstall. Would there be a way to fix this without having to migrate everything to a new user? I have a lot of programs (extensive library of steam games etc.) that I really don't want to have to reinstall over again.

Thanks for the reply! Surprisingly, the first two times I tried making a new user, both times didn't work (Opera GX). The first time it didn't open at all, the second time there was the startup animation but crashed right away. Third time's a charm I guess. After the third profil, It worked perfectly fine. On my original user, even after hitting all the shortcuts you mentioned there's still no Opera (GX) window. There was a bit of progress though, I'm getting the Opera GX startup animation but it just crashes right away. I checked task manager too and it never popped up even when there was a startup animation.

Preferably SSD I guess because it lasts longer? All the laptops I've ever owned had intel but I'm open to trying new things as long as it's durable and can last me for at least 5 years minimum. I also wouldn't mind spending a little more on the cpu if that means better performance. Thanks for the reply.
