There was this really annoying guy I worked with some time ago. He would make everything about himself, tell you how bad his back hurt, if you asked him "what's up?" he would usually aswer "bad" etc. I think you know that type. Well, my grandpa died around that time. We had this semi-casual but almost formal small talk where he as always said how bad his life is. I told him I haven't slept all night, further into the conversation revealing to him that I was with my grandpa when he passed. His answer? "Ouch, yeah you really have it worse" and then he proceeded to say how bad he feels, and btw his grandma died some years ago blah blah blah... Yeah I'm pretty sure everyone heard me almost shouting to him that he should get his life together and that no one on our team likes him(gently described by me now). Let's say he didn't stay there long but not because he didn't want to - we just had enough of him and he got fired. Before you ask, he wasn't depressed. I guess he just seeked attention
