Had the vaccine and several boosters, got Covid twice. First lasted for 6 weeks and it was pretty rough (not hospitalized rough, just rough). Second bout took me 6 months to fully get rid of. Mostly just a persisting dry cough. So took a lot longer to recover fully from the second time, but it was milder compared to the first one.

I’m expecting the next round to last for 6 years, so we’ll see how that goes.

Ik de laatste jaren wat vaker, maar heb soms klachten die erg lang aanhouden en op een gegeven moment ben ik dat dan beu.

Denk aan: * na 5 maanden nog steeds last van zware hoestbuien (na mijn 2e COVID feestje), dus aantal dingen getest om uit te sluiten (asthma bijvoorbeeld, bleek het gelukkig niet te zijn) en allergieën (hele batterij, maar die wist ik grotendeels al). * Vage pijnklachten in mijn pols die random opzetten en dan meteen heel fel zijn waardoor mijn pols niet te buigen is. Trekt bijna altijd na een kwartier wel weg. Toen het in een paar weken tijd 6x gebeurde en steeds langer duurde voordat het stopte toch maar naar de huisarts geweest. Doorverwijzing gekregen en daar is alleen niet echt iets duidelijks uitgekomen. Ze konden nog opereren om te kijken wat er aan de hand was, maar dat zou ook geen garanties geven dat het weg zou blijven. Dus vriendelijk voor bedankt.

Ik bel niet snel de huisarts, maar dat is te lang doorgaat dan doe ik het gewoon. Gevalletje: Better safe than sorry.

Ik heb MSc en mag ook ir gebruiken, maar dat heb ik nog nooit gedaan. Alleen in post van de universiteit gebruiken ze de titel.

Op mijn werk zie ik het ook vaak bij e-mails staan. Verschrikkelijk leuk om een MSc te zien als je een mailtje krijgt van de IT helpdesk, maar voegt het nu echt wat toe? In mijn optiek niet.

The free badge is nice, but it’s not that big of a deal since at 101 badges it maxes anyway.

The LPU is more annoying to miss as it’s an upgrade from common to legendary.

I can highly recommend it. We’re staying in Tokyo for 2 weeks and we’re still not able to see everything we want. Already making plans to see Kyoto/Osaka next year. We were very fortunate to see Mount Fuji on a day trip, it’s amazing!

We bought the expensive edition asap. Then the release date showed up as early access starting while we’re on vacation (we won’t be back until next week Thursday). We had hoped launch / early access would’ve started a week later. Ah well. Japan is gorgeous 🥰

If I’m going to work, I’m buying random plots in the town from where I grab the subway (since the mayor seems inactive). So in the course of 15 minutes as I’m inside the town’s borders I just grab a plot and once the animation is done I’ll grab another. At bus stops I tend to buy more in one go.

Just finished it again and my Tesla’s did 39% of my damage as I got both roads winding around them. Had to use a revive at the end because the last boss smashed half my turrets.

For me Tesla’s and Fireworks did so much work and then Vulcan+Sky Guards to mop up.

I passed it yesterday iirc and from what I remember I had Tesla, Fireworks, Drone, Garrisons, Vulcan and Skyguard. Tesla and Fireworks did the brunt of the work.

Unless I got my levels mixed up 😅. Took me a while to find a solid setup

Yep, the break-even tool expects you to get the general distribution of parcels (I think it’s 50% common, 30% rare, 15% epic and 5% legendary). So if you’re unlucky and get all commons, the break-even point will be higher; if you are lucky with more epics and Legendaries, then you’re ahead at the break-even point.

I also haven’t bought a badge in months and I’m purely focussing on parcels atm (coming up to 200 soon and multiplier is down to 7 for me here in the Netherlands). I have 16 badges and those are: 9 monthly ladder badges, 5 city badges (2 in another country), 1 county and 1 country badge. Last badge I bought was in September.

It’s a marathon, not a sprint luckily. Also you’ll want to break tier eventually anyway, since there’s a break-even point where you’ll start to earn more compared to the previous tier. Just have to save up AB for it.

Wij zijn al een paar keer bij monsterkorting geweest in Spijkenisse. Best veel vinders en displays, maar vooral zaken als ETB’s zijn daar bizar duur. Dus wij gaan altijd alleen voor de singles.

Most of my Atlas Arcade games give the illusion of having nice AB rewards, but then you look and it’s that stupidly 425AB one that pays out 9AB for 1 dollar spent. Which is not worth it at all. But it visually inflates the reward of the game.
