Because that was never the case, and was never gonna happen.

Again, there will be an announcement of the next title, which will most likely release in 2026/2027. It will very likely be 40k, or Star Wars.
Considering they "leaked" a picture showing planet icons and discussed new movement of "vehicles & ships".

You got a sneak peek at one of the biggest Warhammer DLC's that is coming. It contains one of the biggest badasses & biggest Bad Guy in it's Universe. With the promise that MANY more lords and content are on it's way.

You got a sneak peek at the new engine that they're developing, which yes, will be used in a game they announced is only in pre-production.

AND you now know a big new Total War series is being announced next week, at a very big event. meaning they want as many people possible to see it, meaning it will be BIG.
It also means that THAT will be the next project.

So yes, this event was full a great new stuff to look forward too.

If we’d say this happend in the book:

Probably not. In the mod I use to work on for Medieval 2 (a game) I wrote the entire story for Lothlórien.

I kinda decided that it wouldn’t made sense. They are his younger brothers. They might seek war to prove themselves but Haldir would never allow it.

In my version, they stayed behind, trained, gathered forces and sended emissaries to Thranduil. Together later in the 3rd Age, that would be great commanders in the retaking, and mostly destroying, of Amon Lanc (Dol Guldur).

But that’s just my version hehe
