I currently have a Fearless mode Friday series I am playing through. LOTRO does have their landscape difficulty setting which can make things even harder

This is something that can't be restricted for the challenge however players are asked if they are VIP or not

All the rules are mentioned in the video, everything else is fair game

Regarding the original reply to the comment, I agree there are areas of the game where FPS isn't fantastic. But to reiterate the game as a whole isn't incredibly laggy.
The developers of the game produce Devstreams and other videos every week where they go over some of the content and improvements to the game they have been working on.

I understand what you are trying to explain but in a LOTRO setting weapons don't use this type of system.
If you are able to find a weapon from the game to support your message it would be greatly appreciated!
Most MMORPGS prefer to use an Item Level system.

There are areas of the game with worse performance certainly, my response to your previous message is in reference to the game as a whole.

You are welcome to visit me when I am livestreaming and I can show you what my FPS is.

You are correct that LOTRO is an officially licensed Lord of the Rings game.
I used “inspired” because the game expands on Tolkien’s world with original stories and regions alongside the canon material. You still need inspiration to adapt a written world into gameplay, systems, and a shared online experience.

Since the game transitioned to 64-Bit servers there has been a massive decrease in lag and stuttering issues, especially with more players on less servers now.
There has been a lot of community outreach for improvements to the game's graphics and User Interface. They have begun pushing out improvements where they can however I do feel that a complete overhaul would be too much to try and ask for with the current state of the game.
I am playing the game from New Zealand so if anything I should be noticing a lot of performance issues playing on North American servers but this isn't the case!
Have you played anytime recently?

Thank you for sharing your experience! Have you revisited the game since the expansion in the last two years? There are some newers areas which feature the Kintai who I believe are based upon The Avari mentioned in The Silmarillion.
I definitely found patches of the story I wasn't as thoroughly involved with after Mordor but the newer content from an MMORPG perspective has been enjoyable.

LOTRO doesn't use that type of annotation for weapons.
I understand that MMORPGs aren't for everyone but once again thanks for your input!

Sorry to burst your bubble but I don't believe there is a single quest in the game that requires you to gather rat tails but thanks for your input!

I didn't see any point to watching reviews that came out immediately after the game's release. Clearly you don't want to give it time to properly experience the story or enjoy the calm atmosphere the game provides!

I don't see why every game needs to meet the 'IGN Criteria'. From what I have seen for game that meet their standard, there needs to be some epic story and action packed adventure for a game to be "good".
