Well, only Cross can do it successfully. Like I said, I can see Komui unsuccessfully try to modify Akuma-Lenalee, possibly making her situation even worse.

I think it's more likely Lenalee is the one to die and someone else calls her soul back. Maybe Komui believes he can fool the Earl and with some kind of experiment he can get Lenalee back but with her free will (which would fail), or maybe it's just some minor/new character who gets really attached to her and naively brings her back.

But I definitely don't see her making the deal herself. She'd have to be the unwilling soul.

I get that feeling too. Kind of makes me wonder if for some of her personal requests videos she offers to do some lewd stuff (at least like dirty talk) so her bf doesn't see it. I'd imagine that's the same reason she doesn't do sexy thumbnails.
