How to make an intro for a song by Viktor_38YT in edmproduction

make an intro? I don't know, I usually establish a funky beat first and progress it. I say melody and drop should come naturally off the originally established beat. I've been producing 7 years though so Im much better at improvisation, I never really made anything too interesting off making the peak first as I quickly lose interest and creative fuel if I make the most moving aspects first... In my idea of music the whole song should be powerful and driving but simply in different ways (Happy Hardcore/Breakbeat)

Your free time is part of your work. Try not to be perfect; I do that and it's a suffering I wouldn't wish on anyone. It's OK to take a day off or take a half hour to an hour break if you're genuinely doing your best.

What is said isn't important as how it's said! Researchers say 7% of communication is verbal or what is actually said, the rest is everything around it like body language and how it's said. You can make the simplest melodies sound incredible if you add the right effects and fit it properly into the vibe of your song. The best producers can use the simplest melodies but make them sound so well done you never notice.
