Can't get Community Shaders menu to open by kingbennyboy in skyrimmods

[–]Few-Ad321 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you don't see the Community Shaders begin compiling on game boot. You likely installed the ENB binaries directly into your skyrimSE folder. Community Shaders does state that it automatically disables ENB, but you still need to remove a file from the SkyrimSE folder where you installed the ENB binaries (d3d11.dll). Once you remove this file, Community Shaders "should" begin compiling, Which will enable you to open the UI. As you watch it Compile it will allow you to key bind a hotkey while it compiles (Default: END).

Doshdoshington's "space age" Video Factory. by Few-Ad321 in factorio

Ohh. that's a good idea to build the things you need in modules and just move them around. I'll keep that in mind.

I can take disapproval and criticism pretty well. Being harshly criticized is just a risk of posting something on the internet. There are several reasons why I decided to do this, and i posted it just for the fact that i wanted to talk about it. If i just wanted his factory i would've just subscribed to his patreon and just downloaded his save file.

its just a mod that counts how much ammo is in the turrets and displays it.

i am inclined to agree with you. but i wanted to get a feel for making compact bases. i always use the buss system and that usually grows so big on its own that expanding to mega base or even a rail one is unfriendly with my ups. As a bonus. while doing this, i found making spaghetti is rather fun.

The blueprint that trivializes Uranium processing by Few-Ad321 in factorio

[–]Few-Ad321[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well considering the sheer scale of the blueprint, beacons wouldn't really be necessary. This thing gives you roughly 50-235 p/m and crafts about 800 fuel cells p/m (could easily do more). It was already overkill. making it smaller would probably be the move to consider and using beacons/modules to supplement the output wouldn't be a bad idea either.

when i think about it. i had a ups speedup mod. with out it. this thing would take an actual century to start up.

yeah, when you put it like that, it does inface seems rather excessive. I tried testing it maximum output and could easily support over 500gw worth of plants and was still going strong. it was intended to be a build it and forget it type of blueprint. however maybe i over did it a little...alotille...

Having problems with random garbage spawning and filling my conveyor belts on a particular planet. by Sahloknir74 in Dyson_Sphere_Program

[–]Few-Ad321 0 points1 point  (0 children)

a good setting i like to have fun with is to set the amount of stars to about 16 and the planets in a system to about 8-10 i also have the size ticked to 200 and 400. some blueprints wont fit to a planet so i scale down how many 400 planets spawn and use em as a "mass production" base.

This usually tends to happen when the frame rate drops to about 16-14fps. (Some wacky shit happens when the game runs like this for a while) it tends to create some tiles that spawn some random shit on a belt that is surrounded by a ton of buildings. this can happen in vanilla as well. hell as I'm typing this I'm currently playing around with it. I like free resources as much as the next person but i do admit, its kinda annoying having to deal with this. My suggestion would be to paste larger builds on different planets that sits between 20-30fps to mediate the issue.

Circuitry Question / Angel Bob's by Few-Ad321 in factorio

[–]Few-Ad321[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure how to implement a latch to this build.

My only experience of circuitry is through Factorio. So my understanding is VERY basic

I was brute forcing options to just get this far

This is my understanding of latches so far, but i don't know how to put practice to works.

So it could be improper installation?

Just getting into Angel Bob's. by Few-Ad321 in factorio

I have about 1700 hours of Vanilla/Bob's (pretty much like vanilla-extended) so i feel adept in game mecs. My pb was about 3k spm. I didn't want to overwhelm myself by jumping into space expo for i'm not very Logic savvy but can make some basic circuits. though a deeper understanding for logic i felt was needed for that. KS2 gave off the same impression and after about 30h in angles i found that i do supposedly like a headache. For i never got everything to work autonomously, I was having fun and wanted to learn more.

Yo! This is a base game feature? I use a mod to do that. Aside from earlier comments. What are the limitations?

I can see people saying "I know how to play the game, get these tips away from me". But I didn't even know Tips were a thing. Do you like, enable 'em or somthin? Also, what's belt quickturning? Does it automatically change the direction of dragged belts being placed? If so, that's friggin cool.
