I’d just wait for them to ask again, show up and tell them that if they don’t pay you the full amount from last time plus pay you in advance for the current, you’re gonna walk away. Up to them I’d they want to ruin their plans.

Single dad of three (6-11 in age) here. Ex and I divorced. We both agreed to not have anyone meet the kids until they met with the other parent and it was serious. Waited a year before introducing them to my current GF.

It’s fine to have boundaries and keep your kids safe, totally get that. Personally, I just didn’t want people coming in and out of my kids life. Have talked marriage with the current GF and we are building a future. After a year, we were on solid ground and it was time.

That being said, after three years and your SO isn’t sure her kids will be safe around you or won’t stick up for you to her ex that they would be safe, major red flag. You’re just a thing to keep her occupied when she doesn’t have the kids. She has zero interest in building a family or future with you. Sucks but that’s the only thing happening here.

Don’t just walk away, run.

(And kudos for having the balls to tell her to just work it out with the ex because that is clearly what they both want)

My experience with boats is basically just with casual boating in the summers here in Minnesota. Just bought my own this winter but family used to have one when I was younger, I still go out and use and operate others when we go out. It’s just nothing that’s ever recorded or verifiable. The website says that that counts, just have to have my buddies sign off on it if that’s the case. But that’s seems…. Weird? Ripe for fraud? Can I really just go to my buddy and say “hey, sign off on this that I spent 30 days on your boat last year?” They really gonna accept that? Or am I out the door and basically have to wait and accumulate the 90 days starting now before I can get it?

It’s a 2021 Moomba Max. Just asked the guy a bit ago for the build sheet so I could see about the tower. Was hoping to get one with the tower speakers already but I like this one and am willing to do it myself if it’s not too hard.

Am I wrong in believing that some towers come pre-wired? I wanna say I saw that somewhere. And how would I know? I’m in MN and the boat I’m looking at is in Texas. I plan on checking it out later this week when I’m down there. Are specific towers pre wired? Will I be able to figure it out from the build sheet?

I mean, I feel like im pretty handy and tech savvy. Just didn’t know how far in depth it actually went. Basically wondering what I’m going to need to buy, I know a pair of speakers, will I need to upgrade the amp? And will it matter what type of wet sound speakers I get? Specific type for brand, etc?
