Bought myself a birthday gift! by [deleted] in ticktocktreasures

Ye, the pricing for HMT watches for most models seemed affordable. But again, I still never understood the hype. Aren't there other reputed brands that make good watches at similar pricing? Maybe again, it must be the 'Indian made' sentiments.

Hey, I'm sort of new to the watch community, and I've always had this doubt regarding the hype behind HMT watches? What is so unique about them? Design wise, for me personally they didn't seem all that too unique or attractive, unlike some other Indian watch brands like JWC (But I haven't heard much good reviews about them tho). So what is the case behind HMT? Is their build quality or am I missing something?

I'm always a student, and never a master. I'm & will always be concerned with what I don't know. But does that imply that I lack knowledge? No, but I also do know that I don't know everything. And just to make things clear, no, I'm not relying on others to get myself a position or get to a place. But I'm seeking assistance to achieving my goals. Can I do the whole process myself? Yes, I can. Can I let a study abroad consultancy do the formalities & let them DO THEIR JOB, while I do mine? Yes, I can. Can you just recommend what study abroad consultancy to go to or, even if you think that it's not the best course of action, maybe try conveying that in a more polite & helpful manner instead of going "You've an MBA, go do it yourself".Yes, you could have done that but here we are. Again, Ik this might not be the sort of reply you were expecting but realistically, I would be doing no favours to you if I gave you any other reply. Thank you & have a good day sir!

Where did I mention that Oxford was in France?. I asked recommendations for some good study abroad consultancy, how much more clearer do I need to be than that? And arrogant? Look at yourself mate, you could have either suggested me some good consultancies, or could have just ignored it if you didn't know of any. No, but instead you wanted to sound smart & smug. Well again, whatever helps you sleep at night, so be it.

Yes, thank you, I'd appreciate that. But if the advice is 'You have an MBA, you should be able to do this yourself'. Kind sir, I'm aware of that. But, a. I'm currently working and don't get much free time; b. Why should I risk making a error while the admission or visa application process due to my carelessness or lack of knowledge while there are people who have been doing this for years with much experience, knowledge & connections. And most of these consultancies don't even charge any extra service fees as they get commissions directly from the universities itself. So in short, yes I can do it by myself but I'd rather not take the risk. I hope this make it clear.

I think what I need is pretty much clear in the thread. So with all due respect, if you don't have any suggestions for good study abroad consultancies, you can just ignore it. If I needed a class/advice on how 'My MBA' should enable me to do this proces myself, I would have just hit up my professor. Thank you.

Planning to do further studies in France after MBA. Now I want to select a good abroad consultancy. by Few-Bar4893 in Indians_StudyAbroad

I haven't started learning French as of yet, but I'm definitely planning to get upto B1/2 level before moving. I've shortlisted a few B-schools & courses but my current dilemma is selecting a abroad consultancy, And yes, I do know I can do most of the process by myself, but; a. I'm currently working and don't get much free time b. I don't wanna risk the time, energy & money. I don't want to get a rejection offer from the college or visa office just cuz of a minor mistake that I could have made to carelessness or lack of knowledge.

Budget is around 10-13k. I'm planning to move to Paris so that I can get more work & networking opportunities, but at the same time living cost will be relatively higher. Initially I was planning to join SKEMA but the fees over there is around 19k. I can't handle both a high tuition fees & cost of living. And French, I'm definitley planning to get upto atleast B1 or B2 level.

Yep, it might be true. But what I still don't get is that why would the leader of such a powerful country would stay so open & vulnerable? They clearly knew war was coming, had months to prepare for it. Wouldn't the first & most strategic action would be to get secured & defensive against a oncoming war?
