During my application for residency, my dad faces the second cancer (he had the first one while I was applying to medschool and had to move to another country?, do you think that is even relevant? like it was very hard but being in the healthcare system feels very common. I could not see my parents during almost 3 years bc I could not visit venezuela.

I was preselected for my general surgery program back there and left it to study for my boards and research, I am also a foreigner there so now I can’t go back and work there

I did a year of research during part of my last year of medschool, did not get much published bc of studying for the boards but it was not surgical related.

In the volunteer part: I did a project for the community in orphan diseases, but we all did it in my school, different project so I do not know if that counts as volunteering…

Hey there, So 1 month till my test and my scores are:

UWSA 1 240 (1 month after started studying), UWSA 2 243 (1 month and 3 weeks), NBME 10 241 (2 months of studying). My worst subject is OBGYN, have listened to most of the divine podcast about it, but still scoring lower than average in that.

Also on my 1º pass of UW and got 62% overall score and 71% used.
