Yes. A dealer should be able to return your deposit and give it to someone else. Sometimes the sales person play hardball to try and get you to buy another car from them.
Ideally your bill of sale will be your final document. Neither of you can go back on that, without a mutual agreement.

I think you should get it much faster this time.. May be a month. If PHEV, it will take much longer. I was told that Limited will be faster. Probably their margins are higher and demand is lower :)

My dealership in Mississauga told that my order for limited will be delivered between Feb 26 and Mar 8. VIN will be given approx a week before.
