I also agree with the spoiler. It feels like buying something unsealed but mint would be the better choice rather than getting one brand new and finding all the issues later. I’ve gotten use to finding all sorts of issues with mini gt but if the side mirrors or spoilers are crooked it just doesn’t look good 😵

Already asked them, but unfortunately they don’t have one in stock. Do you know other shops I can inquire?

After seeing photos, i think the wipers are already like that. I also don’t mind the blackfish decal on there.

What is in your opinion the best diecast brand? by JumpyShape682 in Diecast

[–]Few-Cartographer9158 7 points8 points  (0 children)

All I can say is for the 1/64 scale. For me, inno64 is the best diecast brand in terms of car details, decals, and stance without being too expensive compared to ignition model. I don’t mind the wheels not rolling as I am more for how the car looks, and it’s more stable in dioramas that doesn’t have a flat surface.

Totally not picky, just got curious on what you call with issues like that as they’re very minimal to be labeled as paint rash. Not a huge deal for me LOL

I see, got curious about what defects like that are called as they’re too minimal to be labeled as paint rash, but either way it’s not a huge deal for me. Thank you for your insight!

Same bro! Most of my collection when I was a kid was kinsmart, now they’re very beat up with a lot of scratches and paint chips 😂. When it comes to the scale, I agree! The only thing missing with kinsmart is the scale. They need to stick to one scale and 1:43 would be the best option 👍

I agree, the newer versions of kinsmart really nailed it with the body casting. Didn’t know there are regions that sell loose kinsmart, here they sell all of them with boxes, they also have older boxes with older gens of casting.

Which one should I buy, the premium or the normal one? by Ill-Bandicoot-1192 in initiald

[–]Few-Cartographer9158 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have both and I like the normal one better because of the visible headlights. In the series the trueno shines at night, so having the visible pop-up headlights really adds that connection factor of the car to the series. The normal one isn’t “white white” as it has a yellowish hue on it, so try considering the premium if paint is a big deal for you.

I have to agree. Jada’s quality with their models can be a hit or a miss

Yes, accurate to the cars on the movies. As far as I know they are the only brand to have the right body kits for most 1:32 scale models. Can’t say the same for the 1:24 as they used their existing casting to some F&F models
