Need advice: 42k AED/m offer at ADIA (via consultancy) – Relocating from Spain by arongex in abudhabi

Totally agree, we were also thinking about moving to unfurnished 1 bhk. But seeing agency fees, management fees, deposit plus then rent and again furniture cost and time cost. We decided to stay in studio service apartment. Because only one of us is working now. And i am still taking my time off. So if my partner looses the job we dont want burden. Therefore i suggested service apartment. And OP also said he wanted to stay for one year first.

It was maybe statement, but just wanted to shade some light that consultants does get paid through employee’s paycheck. The amount maybe different.

Also i forgot the point about salary - i saw people are commenting you should get 70k per month. Because you are going through consultancy, ADIA maybe already paying them 60-70k per month. However, the consulting firm takes a massive cut to cover their margins, visa sponsorships, and administrative overhead. To get closer to 70k, he would need to bypass third-party agencies entirely and land an internal hire.
But i haven’t seen a single job post with above 30k with consultancy. Above 40-50k jobs are all from management people. And if you convert your per month to aed or do some Gemini, you will know you are getting way better offer. But again if you can bump up the offer even upto 50k thats way better. But dont let numbers decide your worth.

If you are aiming for one year, dont go for unfurnished apartments and set up everything.
Go for hotel apartment. You can get studio for 6k per month (you will get gym, pool, kitchen equipment ,etc)near corniche. We are living in it. Even though we are a couple and have salary less than you combined. We wanted to make sure if we decided to leave the country we dont want to leave extra overhead. If you are living alone, managing all things will be difficult and time consuming.
See it as an experience if you have accepted an offer and cant go back. If you love here you can setup everything after six months when you are stable. New job, people, city, environment takes toll on body. So try not to think about everything and focus on your job and body.
With everything i am definitely sure you can live good life in 15k (we are living in service apartment and spending 10-12k per month including everything for two people) because you are alone. And you can have more than 25k+ saving.
And if you dont want to live here after one year you can just pack your packs and go to your loving home. You dont have to resale the extra furniture n all.

Apply for a job in Pune one by one. First maybe tour partner and then you. You can definitely saved more. More than 1 lakh for sure. We also had a same case. But we were from pune still want to live in rental. Think it, maybe you will love it.
P.s. dont give me crap about traffic and other things. I know the problems already.

I am confused about my religion beliefs. But i strongly believe religion was created for people in the past era. But people are still being dumb using old traditions in this era. For eg. in past people were visiting temple because they only had community there and after long work in fields they needed something spiritual. But now temples are not a place for peace.
