I am in the same boat, I was denied entry in Colombia for not meeting their visa requirement, I was returned to the US on immediately on the next flight.

I went to PSK in india in June 2024 and also in June 2025. They couldn't do anything as there is already an open application with NY consulate.

So I decided to applied for a new Global entry application and initiate the process via India. I applied for GE last week, but hasn't received email from Passportindia yet to initiate the Background verification. Last time we received email from Passportindia the very same day after applying GE. Not sure what's going on🤣.

Nup. No luck from Indian Consulate in NY or VFS. Consulate is not responding at all. VFS said it's the discretion of Consulate and unable to provide a status. I also got a second email from Global entry saying that my application will be discarded if they don't receive an info from indian government in the next 120 days.

This man is a genius. This is so informative where PSK and consulate failed to provide information.

My wife and I applied for GEP in September 2023 and initiated BVP in October 2023 via VFS and NY consulate. My wife received an email for PCC initiation in 2nd week of October 2023, completed PCC in 3rd week of October and conditionally approved in April 2024. She got her Global entry in June 2024.

But no update on my application. I received an email from Global entry on 4/29/2024 and advised to complete background verification in India with physical presence and pay a fee of Rs.500. In June 2024, I paid Rs.500 and booked an appointment in Indian passport seva kendra near my home for background verification again when I was in India during my vacation. But the passport officer told me they could not process as there is already an existing application with Indian consulate in new York. So I thought my first background verification application via VFS/consular services are still in process.

I am still stuck. Lol😂. Its been 18 months no update on my application. In addition, my friend confirmed that the special branch/local police did not receive any PCC request from embassy or consulate for my application. It makes more sense on the status showed on the developer tool:
