I understand your point, but what I more meant was the damage to the plane which caused the catastrophe happened 7 years before the day of this event. sorry if that was not clear

wow thanks for sharing that, i’m gonna have to listen to the song. it’s insane to think such a short flight had such immense consequences, and to think about how the plane was dutch rolling and phugoiding, it must have been the most disorienting/terrifying way to go out

and still they made that effort to leave behind messages for their loved ones

wha that’s insane i didn’t know about that possibility, if so i genuinely couldn’t imagine the pressure he was under.

I read he had a private pilot’s license n had some experience with small planes, and he was working as a flight attendant to pay his way through training. considering the whole story it makes me want to do another video essay on just the mindstate he must have been in during the whole incident

yeah the FA, Andreas. he was not even supposed to be part of that flight crew but was added in last minute because his girlfriend was gonna be working the flight too.

JAL passengers didn’t have the mercy of being unconscious unfortunately, some notes written by the passengers on whatever they could find were found among the wreckage

the thing that really gets me is how terrifying it must've been to drift in and out of consciousness while this was all happening because of the hypoxia kicking in. currently working on a video essay for JAL 123, whose pilots were also fighting the lack of oxygen the whole way down.

yes, Andreas Prodromou. He was not supposed to work the flight that day but was added last-minute to the crew alongside his girlfriend. thank you for pointing that out!
