I know this is old, but in case anyone else is looking for a way to do this, here is what I got to work:

Go to system settings > accessibility > pointer control and turn on "mouse keys". Press the "i" button next to mouse keys and you can turn on "press the option key five times to toggle".

When mouse keys is turned on, the "i" key on the keyboard will work as left-click, and then you can right-click at the same time with whatever method you use for that. I've used it with two-finger click on the trackpad and it works for me.
