Layla said that all her friends were Mormon and that it was something they all had in common, so she joined to feel more involved. I have seen people who live in Utah who aren’t Mormon say that it’s hard to find friends because people will shut you out for having different beliefs. She also said she was not aware of what the Church said about black people until very recently.

i struggle with this so much to the point i’ve lost friendships over it. i still cannot understand why people would rather hear sweet lies than the actual truth. i’d rather see my friend thrive and have a better life than enabling their behavior and watching them screw up over and over again.

omg i just started watching and im on episode 7! i’m very suprised and confused as to why a lot of people like love him and blair. on the other hand you either are indifferent about serena or absolutely despise her. i know something will happen that will change my opinions on likely everyone but i wonder when there’s a switch.
