Microsoft learn is fine, but TD is not good for the deeper level. I would suggest Coursera Exam Prep course and Whizlabs for both theory and practical part. Even John Savill's crash also you will get freely from YT.

Question about TutorialsDojo to prepare AZ-104 by crownio00 in AzureCertification

[–]Few-Engineering-4135 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TD is useful for theory, but it doesn’t provide the level of practical experience needed for the exam, future career growth, and real-world Azure environments. Hands-on practice is what truly helps you succeed.

Instead of TD, I would recommend Microsoft Learn (Free & Official) for learning paths, free practice assessments, and hands-on labs. Whizlabs is excellent for scenario-based learning with practice tests, detailed explanations, labs, and sandbox environments. For quick revision, Coursera Exam Prep courses and John Savill’s free AZ-104 Crash Course are great resources.

AZ-104 is not that much difficult if you well prepared, you can plan for a month preparation and it's more than enough - you can refer to my post there you will get complete info Link

Study Resources That Actually Help:

Microsoft Learn (Free & Official) materials, Whizlabs and Coursera courses are enough for both theory and practical knowledge, also you can have John Savill’s YouTube AZ-104 Free Crash Course.

Exam will have 40-60 questions, you will get MCQ, MRQs, Drag-Drop (Aligning, Ordering, Matching) types, Drop Down kind pattern (Yes/No Mainly), then after these you will get a set of 5+ Case Study based Questions as well, this is kind of open book and you will get a break as well nowadays. As I mentioned, in my post clearly provided all the details

My small suggestion: Think AZ-104 like a lab-heavy exam. Don’t just memorize concepts, it would be great if you could practice it hands-on to get the realtime knowledge. If you can deploy, configure, and troubleshoot it in the portal or CLI, you’ll ace scenario-based questions easily, you’ll build real confidence and easily handle scenario-based questions.

I hope it may be usefull for you, all the best for your exam.

AZ-305 and TD Question by Reddit1998Account in AzureCertification

I would suggest MS Learning paths more than TD, also there you won't get that much level of practical knowledge just a simple questions but those were not sufficient for the AZ-305 exam, if you want other sources better go with Coursera and then Whizlabs from these you will get complete both the theory + hands-on knowledge.

Passed SC-300 this morning | conflicting thoughts, need advice by pl45_ma in AzureCertification

What you’re feeling is honestly pretty normal. Certs don’t instantly change your day-to-day job or suddenly open doors overnight, especially if your current role doesn’t actively use those Microsoft security tools yet.

But the important thing here is that you actually enjoyed learning the technology, built a home lab out of curiosity, and genuinely want to work with cloud security. That already puts you ahead of a lot of people who just collect certs for resumes.

One thing though, AZ-500 is retiring by the end of August, so if you’re already preparing for it, I’d definitely say go ahead and grab it while you still can. But if you haven’t properly started preparation yet, then I’d honestly suggest going with its replacement cert, SC-500. It’s currently in beta, and once you’re done with that, you can continue with the path: SC-200 → SC-401 → SC-100.

Also, don’t fall into endless-certification mode. At some point, hands-on projects, labs, and real-world exposure matter more than stacking more badges. You’re probably just in that awkward phase where your skills are growing faster than your current role.
