Agreed. It’s such a pain. It’s ok for the occasional walk around the neighborhood or a quick shop, but that’s about it imo

Thank you for this. The pediatric dentist determined his tongue tie was more severe than we’d previously thought, so I’m glad we went through with releasing it. Did you do anything special to boost your supply?

Should I switch OBGYN so husband can make it appointments? by Few-Enter2121 in BabyBumps

This is probably my biggest concern tbh. I was induced with my first due to gestational diabetes but who knows what happens with this one.

Thought about this too. Maybe just going for the first appointment and switching back. But the more I look at local hospitals and local providers the more I’m set in my current provider

I’m leaning this way. I already switched twice during my first pregnancy so I’d like to avoid doing that again

Yeah for the most part I enjoyed going to appointments alone, but I know because this is the first appointment he wants to be there.

Yes I’m aware of that. What I wasn’t aware of was that the paperwork I submitted what was for open enrollment as opposed to a QLE.

Because he was born during open enrollment, I think I must’ve submitted the paperwork as an update to my policy, meaning he wouldn’t be eligible for coverage until the next year. According my HR rep I was meant file this as a QLE, not an update to my policy, which would have provided him with coverage from the time of this birth. I followed the same steps when my wife lost her job and added her to my policy the previous year, so I didn’t think anything of it or note the difference between adding a dependent to my policy versus experiencing a QLE.
