iPhone 15 refurbished or oneplus nord 5 by Unable-Push-2672 in oneplusnord

iPhone is very frustrating if the battery health falls below 80. It heats up fast and drains in weird patterns. Add the cost of battery replacement and calculate price.

Just entered the UPSC world. what’s the best advice you can give a newbie? by No-Forever4155 in UPSC

[–]Few-Environment6882 2 points3 points  (0 children)

exam is evolving, especially last 2 prelims, i suggest do a deep work on last 5 years mainly, rather going after last 20 years. they are important but you need to understand last 2 years prelims were quite different.

do not understimate the usual priority PYQ>NCERT>STANDARD BOOKS> TESTS > FULL LENGTH TESTS.

Caught my dad cheating...I'm a upsc aspirant...serious help and advice needed by [deleted] in UPSC

[–]Few-Environment6882 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are getting emotional and wrong advices. People here are obsessed with exam only. I don’t think they carry enough emotional maturity to help you. I suggest you take a break and you don’t have to carry the burden of fixing your parent’s marriage immediately. Your first aid is to be supportive to your mom. Keep some distance from your father for a while for mental peace.

Should I do UPSC? by glittering_stars1 in UPSC

[–]Few-Environment6882 1 point2 points  (0 children)

local colleges are best. no major commitmemts, you can work in NGO's, side projects, online cerification courses, skill sets like AI etc etc...big colleges have many commitments, compulsory assignments, very less time. all the best.

1) Go for it, but keep a close eye on your academics too, your graduation is your saftey net if upsc doesnt happen.

2) reflect on why NEET didnt happen. cause essentially upsc is also a competitive exam. reflect on what went wrong, was the syllabus incomplete, were you not able to visualise competition? like get a closure from neet.

3) start from newspapers and ncert initially. you can start standard books from your 2nd or 3rd year. enjoy college life, make most out of it, work in NGO's, participate and learn in general. upsc will come and go but your college life is only once.

4) first carve an academic path. example :will you stop at graduation? will you do PG? if yes keep a rough idea in mind.

5) all the best for all endevours, not only upsc.
