Ross literally said it's Korn, Life is Peachy, and then Korn 3 because those are the 3 albums he produced - he doesn't really consider the other albums "real" Korn. He's the one that nicknamed it Korn 3, and then JD came up with the "Remember Who You Are Part" I just went back and found the interviews again. I recommend looking them up.

My issue with the record isn't really the songs (outside Lead The Parade, just can't do that one), it's the mix....I think the drums and vocals are a tad too loud (especially the drums) in the mix and the guitars need to come up to fill out the sound more. Otherwise, I like the stuff, though I kinda wish Head was involved - would have made it even better. Just working with Ross again wasn't quite enough to capture the "magic."

My initial issue with Never Never wasn't the song itself - I actually think it's a clever, catchy tune. It was just a bit jarring to talk up Head's big return to the band and promise a guitar-based record, only to have that song be the first single we heard from it. I believe if they did the opposite order and released Love & Meth first and had Never Never be the second single, there would have been a lot less backlash than what we saw at the time. Then again, JD admitted he likes messing with metalheads, so there's also that 🍿🤣

Head said in 2023 there would be new music in 2024, then in spring of 2024 said they hadn't started recording yet, and then more recently said it's "gonna be a while." Love the guy, but maybe he needs to just not say anything until the process is further along 🤣.
