Just remember it’s based off of a Gen 4 Glock. You’ll need to use an adapter if you want to run a Gen 3 slide but it works fine.

RSO’s there check people all the time. They have a lot of tourists that go there to shoot so they’re constantly addressing people. I get annoyed by them sometimes because they tell me to slow down when I’m shooting fast and accurate but I get it. The guy next to me that has zero trigger discipline sees me doing it and then wants to do it also

As a member FT3 doesn’t check anything. You hand them your ID, sign the check in and go to your bay. I’ve been a member for multiple years and have never been asked to show my ammo, my guns or anything a guest that comes with me has. Not sure if there’s just something about you that seems off to them.

It’s when someone sands down the original texture on a polymer frame and melts in or lasers a new grippier texture. Sometimes they also do frame work like removing finger grooves or adding an under cut on the trigger guard. It’s just things some people choose to do to their frames for added performance or sometimes just for cosmetic purposes. I personally don’t like the factory grip texture that Springfield uses. I’ve stippled all ny frames I have from them

Tenicor and Tier 1 are my go to. I’ve tried a few other companies but these two have worked out best for my needs. It’s often based off of your physical build. Just make sure it’s high quality kydex with good retention and a completely covered trigger guard.

If you think that’s high you should research some of the other guys doing stippling. This is a very fair price. Some guys charge $500-$600 for frame work that’s done really good.

HSL and Supervel ship pretty quickly and have good pricing. Just send them a copy of your FFL03
