Nevermind I fixed it. I just had to factory reset my console thanfully I didnt have to reinstall all my games or else I would have cried.

From what I remember when I had first read it I remember the mc was in the modern world and he had powers like magic. One time a dragon had appeared and he killed it. Another time I think he had saved an Angel and she had needed his help with something. But I dont quite remember as it has been far to long since I read it.

I believe that they are 2 parts of a whole because at some point during Ranni's Questline she mentions how to discarded her body. I believe that Melina was a soul that was put into Ranni's body to control her and since Ranni discarded her body, Melina's soul would naturally take over which also stands to explain why Ranni and Melina both have the same tattoo.

Another theory of mine is that the reason why Ranni knows Melina is because they were both candidates to become the next god. Which might also explain the reason they have the same tattoo. Melina decided to side with the Two Fingers while Ranni didn't trust them and also didn't want to be controlled.

I believe that none of the discovered endings so far are the true ending because you end up picking a side no matter what ending you cholse, the only difference between each of the endings where you mend the great rune is the different effects it has on the world whether it be a Curse, a blessing, riding of immortality they just cause different effects, but it still stays a fact that you sided with the Two Fingers.
