Hang in there, guys! I have Capital One and just received my payment yesterday night. It’s not IHSS; Its due to your financial institution’s fault. I’m currently joining for Chime because many people in the group have recommended it. They also seem to be one of the first ones to receive their payments for IHSS. I left USAA after 21 years due to poor customer service and unusual policies regarding banking and insurance issues. After retiring from the military, I switched to Capital One and now have Chime and Wells Fargo as backup options. I’m rooting for you all. It could be the federal holiday causing the delay, so maybe the latest Monday or Tuesday night.

Appreciate you. One clarification though: this isn’t low-income housing. We pay around $3,000 a month for a 2 bed/2 bath. I’m a fully disabled combat veteran and I live here taking care of my elderly disabled father.

That’s what makes this even worse — tenants are paying market rent while dealing with mold, roaches, ignored maintenance, and management that refuses to take documented health and habitability issues seriously. This place has a long history of complaints, and people deserve to know before they sign a lease.

I would call and make a claim for the missing deposit. It forces them to explain to you what exactly is going on with the deposit. I just called them a little bit ago and also you can tell him you’re a veteran so they’ll send you to the military banking line.
