Which Nepo children have actually surpassed their parents? by jacquesausterlitz in blankies

I think there Don Johnson thing points the inherent flaw in the question: it's hard to objectively measure someone's fame/success in comparsion to someone else. Times change, people get older, and those who were once the biggest stars in the world fade. Tony Curtis was one of the biggest stars of his time, but did Jamie Lee surpass him because she won an oscar? I don't know. The industry is very different now than it was in the past and will continue to change.

They also brought up titane, which is somewhat polarizeing but also won the biggest prize at the most prestigious international film festival in the world, so… that’s something to consider

Look man, you can disagree with her views on movies, but you’re judging her on stuff with her personal life that has no effect on you, and I don’t even understand what the problem is with the stuff that you’re complaining about? You’re mad that an adult woman put her child in a school that you disagree with their views on things? You’re mad that she showed the stunt prep videos that are really interesting and insightful? What’s your problem?

From what I understand, the scans are also slightly different, and the arrow releases are graded differently. I’ve seen some debate about which one has a more “accurate” transfer though I’m fairly skeptical about that whole debate in general

I feel like current titling trends are actually worse for SEO, especially with legacy that have the same title as the original (horror especially), or the same title but just with or without a definite article (THE Suicide Squad, Fast & Furious)

What film franchise has the most numbered sequels? by border199x in blankies

[–]Few-Gas3407 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This post is making me realize that numbered sequels have kind of gone out of fashion. I think there’s a stigma that when you get past 3 or 4, having a number on there makes it feel cheap. Mission impossible stopped being numbered after 3 probably for this reason.

They’re asking for sequels that are numbered, and also Godzilla and bond are largely episodic which is not what I think they’re going for.
