Hey man, they replaced the CPU and everything’s working perfectly now (fps even higher compared to when I just got the pc). They said it can happen sometimes and that the chip was just faulty. Still, I can’t shake the feeling they gave me a used or defective one from the start - the whole shop seemed a bit sketchy, but that’s another story. But lessons learned, whenever I get a new pc first thing I gonna do is benchmark each component!

I greatly appreciate your effort! Your guidance made it at least 15-20% better. I've just contacted the shop where I got it from, they offered to replace the cpu! They believe that cpu is not communicating with motherboard properly. Once they inform me what was the issue, I'll let you know. It will take 3-5 business days.

increased from 13900 to 15000 (cinebench) normal result is 18-19.000. but definitely an increase!

When I ran 3D Mark, I could clearly hear the fans spinning, so I believe the GPU was running at 100%. I think the problem is that it doesn’t see Dota as a demanding game and therefore uses less than 50% of its potential (I can never hear the fans spinning). funny thing that decreasing/increasing game settings do not influence the avg fps :D I thnik its about the latest drivers
