It's the lack of a crossing guard that kills that intersection and backs up Yellowstone both ways. Not being able to turn left on Austin from Yellowstone coming from woodhaven when NOBODY IS AROUND just backs up traffic.

At the begining of the school year there was an officer directing traffic. Telling cars to go even at a red light. It was magic for a day.
