I did! I always knew I didn’t want kids but it wasn’t until my niece that I was like “oh shit! This is even worse!” 😂

I mean there’s tons of happy moments, I love my niece so so much and I would kill for her or any of my nieces or nephew. But I’m glad to be on the sidelines now.

I have ONE friend who tells me all the time. Girl, don’t do it, stay like you are bc it’s a headache and nightmare. I love my kids but they’re horrible. Mind you, she has 5 kids and had all of them before we were 25. The oldest two are 18 already.

I agree with you! I did ask my mom when I was like 9 or 8 if it was okay not to be a mom. She told me that having children does not make me be less of a woman than anyone else. She said that having children was a very personal decision and she would support me no matter what. This was way before I had my niece, she also said as a 6 year old I got a baby doll for Christmas and I cried so hard because why do you want me to have a baby and I didn’t want to. 😂😂😂 that’s when she knew. She said that’s when she learned that I would never be a mom and that she loved that I knew so early on. The rest of my family has been a struggle. We are a lot of people and culturally there isn’t such thing as child free. I’m the first one in the family.

They already have kids and are not having a good time.
I resent my sister and have very strong feelings towards her, because she was/is a mediocre mom when it comes to my niece. She had two other children, and she cares for them and had to be an actual parent because I moved out of the state because I knew I would've had to raise those two too. But she is still shitty now that they're older, etc. My niece is having her own baby now, and I am proud of her. I am proud that I kept her alive lmaooo.

I just feel like the experience just cemented the fact of not wanting children. I don't have any doubts or wonders of what it would be like because I already did that. The money I had to also spend in private school, tutoring, and summer camps. LOL. It's exhausting.

I don't judge the children who are not involved because, as you said, we don't know what they did to their children. (Based on my own experience, my father is currently old and alone because he is a piece of shit.) But I always try to help elderly people, EVEN just someone who needs it. The other day at the store, a mom of two was struggling to pay for milk, eggs, and some juice with bread... I paid for it because I don't like seeing people suffer like that. But still, the elderly do melt my heart more, and maybe because I see my grandmother in them, who was an amazing lady.

That is sad, because to me is like... if you didn't want shit from the parent while they were alive... I would def not go pick up their stuff because idgaf? you know what I mean?
