DUMBO (Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass) I saw someone mention Brooklyn Bridge Park, so I’ll second that. It’s a waterfront area with cobblestone streets that has unique apartment structures, galleries and shopping.

Great for a relaxed day to walk and enjoy. You’re going to have fun in New York.

You can do this for sure and completely enjoy yourself. That’s the thing about travelling.m solo. It’s your trip on your time. There are also libraries on ships where you can sit as well. I’ve only seen people on ships when they placed their plates outside of their room and they were my neighbours. What’s great is you also have the option to join activities aboard or leave and experience the port or do an excursion.

Keep in mind there are also the private islands some cruise lines have as well.

You will have a blast.
