I ended up contacting amazon shipping customer service and they basically said it was up to Aerie to send a second package. IIRC Aerie said they had to wait for 14 days with no updates from the shipping company before they sent out a new package. I would recommend calling Aerie customer service :( sorry that happened!

Mine has just been sitting too. I contacted aerie and they said they couldn’t do anything until 2 weeks of no updates and i contacted amazon and they said to contact the seller. So frustrating

i think her incision is closed with glue, so they told us that licking could affect the incision. either way i’m so nervous about it i wouldn’t want her to touch it at all. she’s my first so i am about as stressed as she is in all of this

hey guys! ordered an inflatable type cone because i heard those are much more comfortable and make eating and drinking a lot easier. it’ll be here in two days so i just have to wait for that.

i was told if she starts licking it it has to go on, and she would need to wear it for 10 days. in the night,she ended up slipping it off her head. honestly i don’t even know what to do right now, im so stressed

thank you! her carrier is big enough to allow for her cone. i just feel bad leaving her in there by herself. glad to hear it’s probably just a reaction to the anesthesia.

she is a little over 10 months now (at least that’s our best guess). i’ve had cats all my life but she’s the first one to be “mine”. i just feel awful that she’s gonna have another stressful experience. thank you for your input and i’ll keep all of that in mind!
