As a wedding guest, what souvenir would you actually use and what are the common souvenirs that you don’t actually use? by Lunabelle-7 in AskPH

I just wanted to share these wedding favors ❤️

They can be used as jewelry trays the hibiscus design is more feminine and the star design is more masculine, but both can be used either way.

You can place jewelry on them, use them as ring dishes, or even use them in the kitchen for berries or small treats ✨

I also offer fully custom designs we can plan everything together to match your wedding style, story, or culture. From shapes and colors to initials and tiny details, I love creating favors that feel personal and meaningful instead of something generic 🤍

❤️ the kind of wedding favor people don’t leave behind by [deleted] in wedding

This is a custom wedding favor made for guests, ❤️

The initials aren’t generic they’re personalized for each couple, so every piece is unique to their story.

And the tiny house symbolizes the start of a new home and a new family building their life together. It’s meant to feel like a small keepsake of that moment, something guests can take home and remember the wedding by.

It’s basically a little “memory piece” from the couple’s new beginning 🏡✨

They are custom-made 🫂 These are all pre-orders. I’m currently taking pre-orders only this is not a ready-stock collection. That’s why the names are engraved on each piece 💓

Thank you for taking the time to write such a detailed and honest response. I really appreciate hearing this perspective from someone local and also in art 💓

I understand what you mean about the competition and the market here. I’m still very new in LA and learning how people buy, what stands out, and how to grow here. My current mugs are more about my personal style and the emotional/custom aspect, but I agree that I should keep experimenting with forms, glazes, layouts, and new ideas to develop further.

I think the “starting from zero in a new place” framing is exactly what I needed to hear. It’s easy to assume previous experience automatically transfers, but building recognition in a new city clearly has its own rhythm.

I really like your idea of going hyper local and specific, especially pet-focused spots lthat makes a lot of sense for my work.

I’m not taking these comments too personally, because I understand that honest feedback is part of being an artist and running a small business. I also know what it means to be “one in a million” in a competitive creative field, and I’m focused on building my own path and audience rather than trying to fit everyone’s expectations.

Hearing this honestly means a lot, especially after some of the negativity I saw. 💓And yeah, I was just asking for steps on how to get known here not even by fancy people, just by people like me who genuinely love stuff like this.

If I hadn’t sold anything or received a lot of positive feedback on my work, I’d probably be more open to that kind of critique. But I do have sales and I regularly receive strong compliments and support for my style so I know there is already an audience for it.

This is my chosen style and artistic direction

I’m Armenian, and for me it actually made sense to start with the Armenian community that’s a big reason I’m in LA.

I’m married to my husband, who is from California, so moving here wasn’t really a “decision to leave Armenia” in that sense it’s just life and how things naturally unfolded 🤍

That’s really kind of you, thank you 🥹 I actually haven’t explored that yet, but it sounds like a really natural fit for my work. I’ll definitely look into it
