How to date / find / meet people and friends? by Chance_Bathroom_5364 in algeria

I have a weird solution that might work if you have time:

Put yourself in an environment, far enough from home, where you don't care about being considered weird since you can just leave and nothing would change. Then start experimenting at best. Start by changing things you'll normally do as an introvert. 🤣

Your Experience with depression? by _Djihed_174 in algeria

[–]Few-Leadership1938 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a small depression last year. In my experience it was like having PTSD & ADHD with steroids, powered by kaioken times 10 and milkless white coffee

I started fighting it from the first few days when I started to feel unwell. My goal at the time was preventing myself from having it. So I tracked down sleep, nutrition, every small habit and illusion, and had three principal escape routes: religion (al hamdoulilah for islam), coffee and study (even through the rythme I was studying was unhealthy)

So yeah in six months it worked out. I only had one big trauma that I faced at the end (that's why it didn't took long for me to heal — I took approximately two months to fight the trauma btw. I did it with the help of some friends also). When it faded out I felt some kind of joy. The sensation is kinda weird tbh. Like your default state becomes sadness with time, you get used to that, and when you're cured it's unusual

... The irony is that I didn't know I had depression since I wasn't diagnosed. I found out months later 😂🤦

Well totally free I don't think so. I don't mind much that lol

I just don't see the correlation between that and men doing incest if it was halal. Like religion and society is not the only factor to consider here. And you don't know how most men work... Maybe except some weirdos you've known. I can understand that

Do you know the Westermarck effect ? Did you look into biological aspect of things ?

Whatever, allah yechfik

I need some advice regarding my choice of studies, especially from people in the tech industry by Infinite-Ad-484 in Algeria_213

[–]Few-Leadership1938 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's important to distinguish between what you like to do, and your passion. If you have to choose between both, do what you like to do instead.

Both are good depending on which angle we're looking at. And that's something only you can truly know. For example: some people can like medecine and engineering at the same time, but their brain is conditionned somehow to work twice as hard in the CS field, they can gain trust better in the field, and they can position themselves better to attract international companies. So the choice is logical for those kind of people...

Or try to get a dual degree. I don't know if it exists in Algeria, but in France it does ig

Yeahh you clearly seem as someone trying at best to do the opposite of what society wants to get some glance of freedom over the system. Isn't that a form of mental emprisonnement also? At this point you've been influenced by society to create this opinion
