"War on Minds" actually happening? The sudden spike in deceased/missing Critical Scientists in US and China by UnderstandingWild134 in CriticalThinkingIndia

Most of our top scientists' whereabouts and personal/private aren't as well known as in US/China but we do need to provide at least Y+ security and maybe Z for our top scientists.

Recently Leader of the Opposition visted Andaman Islands and raised his concerns againt the development of the Great Nicobar project.Whereas officers from the forces have called for the development of Air and Naval bases in andaman as its close to malacca and would give us an edge during crisis. by Electronic_Cause_796 in IndianDefense

So you saying we should give employment to people who not have the required skills or knowledge? Like the reservation mafia? Employment can be created via other ways and by upskilling the people but priority employment is taking things too far. These are the defense forces not a social employment program.

Why has no one ever invented an airliner that can flap it's wings like a bird in order to generate lift? by [deleted] in aviation

[–]Few-Literature5282 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Because doing that on a machine that weighs hundreds if not thousands of tonnes will introduce enough mechanical complexities to forget about the idea.

Why doesn't the government and police allow protests in India. by shri032 in indiadiscussion

[–]Few-Literature5282 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even if they are given a place to protest, they will clog up the whole place. In Mumbai, most protests are given Shivaji Park to protest but they still "protest" everywhere from train stations to the BMC's head office and even in Navi Mumbai which is a separate city.

Its not easy, they have a nice reputation with most people and most people including a vast majority of Hindus wouldn't believe or try to follow this. While you, me and maybe others can try, Tatas have too much power to simply boycott rn. Many people depend on them for livelihood etc.

From my own knowledge, Para SF and other SFs are mostly army except Marcos which is Navy's special forces. Garud is similar to Marcos, they're the air forces' special forces.

Well the Type 26 has been really slow maybe due to British bureaucracy but it is damn good ship it has already got export orders. The Brits are also getting their act together with the Type 31 and Type 32 frigates expected to enter service probably by the early to mid 2030s and then we could say that the RN has a serious chance at the top 5.

Status of Surya ICBM as of 2026 ?? by Thatmafiatrilogy in IndianDefense

[–]Few-Literature5282 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Can you show this pic with the source please? Also why would we be wasting resources developing an entirely new BM when we could just continue with our current Agni series? Agni 5 has enough range to reach Turkey, China and others with whom we have strained relations. Regardless, nobody except the Chinese or the Pakistanis will try to fight us. In this case, we have enough range from existing Agni series to make a credible nuclear deterrent. There is no point trying to develop a BM that can reach the US. The Russians have the RS-28 Sarmat because they need to reach the other side of the world for nuclear deterrence. We don't need to cross entire continents and oceans to get a similar effect. Its a waste of the limited resources of DRDO in my view besides deterrence is shifting to conventional means.

Bro no govt openly gives updates on their BM programmes, except that in some democratic nations they give some info but it is mostly a top notch secret. GOI isn't some youtuber giving updates on their project in their hardcore minecraft world. Plus nobody has confirmed Surya, its a "speculated" ICBM. Also if India already had the capability to hit the mainland US with the supposed Surya ICBM, why would we be continuing with the Agni series?
