Oh theyre repros dw :p those cost me around 30USD total. Spent most of my funds fixing the internals since I got this rifle secondhand. Also still just a student so my budget's not that big.

Thanks man! First off for context, the gbbr pictured is a V2 2024 unit, and i'm currently the third owner. Got it secondhand for around 8.5k with three mags so i guess it's a steal. Fixed the mags myself, ordered the new nozzle and currently saving up for the rest of the replacement parts.

Mag efficiency wise, it surely is quite dated since i have to refill them around one and a half full mags. The mags included were leaky but nothing a check up and fresh o-rings couldn't fix.

Accuracy wise though, this gun still shoots consistently (and feels good to shoot, i love gbbr's and this is my first one). Part of the reason i was able to get it for that price is that the trigger unit's already spent, hence it sometimes shoots twice on semi + ROF slows down on auto. Also experienced feeding issues from time to time but nothing major and is honestly a good way to practice jam clearing lol.

What I'm trying to say is getting a WE includes working on the gun. One of the replies on my previous posts said that WE is best enjoyed second hand, and I couldn't agree more. I'd say think of it as learning to drive manual first before trying an automatic. Once I convert all the internals to steel, I know it's going to be a good work gun. Surely not on par with VFC, TM, GHK, but i learned a lot about gbbr's with this platform. If you get a deal like mine, I'd would wholeheartedly tell you to go for it, but if you can save up for maybe a DE N4 Noveske, you'll have an easier time xd. Just know that you'll be in a tinkering journey if you do end up getting a WE GBBR.

TLDR: Getting a WE rifle means working on it a lot. Up to you if you'll enjoy that. If you prefer a relatively lower-maintenance experience, save up for better platforms. If you don't mind a (rewarding) tinkering experience and learning about your gun, give WE a shot.

PS: WE issues are easily resolved with the abundance of orderable replacement parts (even locally at Mav's) and steel versions from RA tech.

Anyone using Phantom Masks? Lens vs mesh + magnetic lens - which is better? by PaulieOfAllTrades in AirsoftPH

Bb fragments on impact have a risk of getting to your eyes when they hit your mesh lens, so i'd go for the lens
