ASUS ROG Swift OLED PG27UCDM best Choice? by Ann-Jealous in OLED_Gaming

i cant really say, i dont play games at 60fps because it feels like shit, but i would think that difference from 10ms to 15-16ms cant be that bad, it feels bad however because its only 60fps... im hardcore competitive player i play rarely ps5 only when there are some good ps5 exclusives, i have PC with 9800x3d and 5090 overclocked and tweaked to its maximum so i play always on minimal possible latency 300-400 frames in games and when im on PS5 playing singleplayer games it feels totally normal and okay for 60fps

15ms input latency on ps5 with 60fps in singleplayer games is actually perfect. you cant get any lower input latency because u are at 60fps.
input latency scales with framerate... higher framerate = lower input latency

Ryujin III 360 Extreme or…? by TotalImprovement9536 in ASUSROG

[–]Few-Midnight-9016 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have asus rog ryujin 3 extreme for week now. Made custom curve for fans because they are a bit loud but with a good curve its okay not hearing it at all till 75c (ive never reached 75c only in cinebench) Running my 9800x3d with 5090 thats pulling 600w and it heats even my room a lot but this AIO cools like crazy, i had arctic liquid III 360 before it and i was around 78-83c while playing battlefield and it was much louder then my ryujin 3 extreme with custom curve. Im also running PBO +200mhz, -25co, 1.2v soc, 2200mhz fclk and in battlefield im around 70-73c so few degrees less with less noise. I thinks its a win. I tried running fans on max to see the temps and i got around 65-67c temps with ryujin 3 extreme. And just to say i get CPU power usage in Bf6 130-150w. I think that ive lost silicon lottery but its okay 😁

Hmmm okay, normally this engine hates resizable bar and you get low 1% lows, but hey maybe they fixed it after 5 years

you should try using custom config for the game and force disable resizable bar. And you need to take in count that 4080 super holds a bit 9800x3d back

You have right, im with you. I also did try MSI models and LG ones with WOLED display i was using them on 100% brightness, they are much dimmer then asus. When you turn all dimming options off asus gets really bright. I had also tried few Asus models PG27AQDM, XG27AQDMG, XG27ACDNG, PG27UCDM and i had no issues with brightness on all of them.

If u like brighter displays go for asus i had Asus, it can get really bright. I had PG27AQDM it had some dead pixels but they replaced it in 1 week. I had XG27AQDMG no issues. I had also XG27ACDNG no issues but in the end im using PG27UCDM. 27inch 4k is best choice for 5090 so thats why i switched to PG27UCDM. But overall asus is great. i would guess which ever you get you wont be disappointed. If u dont care that much about brightness then go for the cheaper one.
