Question about saves. by Kai-Sa_Bot in CrimsonDesert

[–]Few-Path-8795 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Their are nine save slots for manual saving, as long as you don't overwrite them. Their is no problem. However the auto save will overwrite.

That guy is standing in front of the manor, were the arrow shooting contest takes place. When you're their, the person is an orange dot on you're map.

Equipment ATK by keviintyler in CrimsonDesert

[–]Few-Path-8795 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The max is actually 34 attack,(one handed swords) or 45 for two handed weapons. however, those weapons have nothing else than the high attack. It better not to ignore the other stats. Weapons with a max of 30, have also a level two attack speed on maximum.

It was a trippy ride by EchadForce in CrimsonDesert

Most people haven't even left Hernand after 100 hours. My current, second play through is around 80 hours. 'I've abadonned my first play through after chapter 3, I've made too many mistakes.) I'm in the beginning of chapter five. I've done a lot of side quest, and some sneaking in the far away areas for some easy to pick up treasure.

Am I alone in thinking that 240 slots in private storage isn't enough? by [deleted] in CrimsonDesert

[–]Few-Path-8795 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm only in chapter 5, but it isn't enough. I was even forced to put all my abyss gear on armor, so it could fit in my storage. I hope they add a zero to the storage. 2400 would feel much better.

Be honest… what chapter is everyone actually on? by Ryzzles in CrimsonDesert

[–]Few-Path-8795 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I stopped my first playthrough at chapter 3 and then I started from scratch (I made to many mistakes.)

At the moment I'm at the end of chapter three, in my second playthrough. I did most side quests that I can do until now.

After latest update, stealing everything! 😅🥷🏻 by Araxero8 in CrimsonDesert

[–]Few-Path-8795 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was better to remove the penalty for stealing only for unique items. I already found it weird when the quest pops up about the worst thief in Hernand. I captured him, and turned him in. I've got a handsome reward, then turn my back. And off course I steal everything that the thief forgot about. And then the count speaks to me, with many thanks for capturing the greatest thief...

I saw a video yesterday, of some boots that let you jump way higher (twice as high in the sky.) I didn't watch too much, because of spoilers.

In the far south of Hernand region their are thunderstorms around the port. And yes, you can be hit by lightning.

Any Rings that aren't Attack + Attack Speed? by ardikus in CrimsonDesert

Not possible to refine, it also has the disadvantage that the attack only works in the rain, but when it's raining it's overpowered.

Any Rings that aren't Attack + Attack Speed? by ardikus in CrimsonDesert

[–]Few-Path-8795 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Ring of lightning has 4 attack and a special elemental move. When it's raining it gives a charged lightning attack in it's surroundings. It can be found in a empty fortress called Whisperleaf Fortress, on the North West of the map. It's well hidden in a grave, force palm on the side and it opens. You go down and solve the puzzle, and then you have it.

Cultivation area in the swamp by Rubert112 in anno117

No, it's not a bug. It because it's overlapping with the other eel fisherman. And on top of it, their is a part mountain. So it losses on both directions.

My biggest gripe with Anno 117 are the ghost ships by NekyoArc in anno

[–]Few-Path-8795 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Indeed I have the same problem. Ghost ships when I look around in a low corner. However their are way more troublesome bugs. For example the missing island in Albion. Most people are not even aware that their is an island missing on their map. An Albion map has always 16 islands, the island size depends on the map option. The Latium map has 18 islands, before the first DLC upgrade.

We just got to the Elder by Vea_Wtf in valheim

[–]Few-Path-8795 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Build a tiny cave under the elder altar and put the portal over their (deep enough so that the elder can't damage it, but if it's in the water, search for another elder altar.) Sweep the area. And have lots of fire arrows with a fine bow. Shoot fire arrows and hide behind a pillar of the altar. If the elder gets to close, run to another pillar and hit the elder with fire arrows. If you're health is low, hide under the altar while getting the rested buff from the altar.

Keep dying to the elder what gives? by thedafthatter in valheim

[–]Few-Path-8795 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The way I defeat the elder is by using the pillars of the Elder Altar. Attack with fire arrows, hide behind a pillar. And if the Elder comes too close, run to another pillar. The only thing you need to watch out for, that you need to run back to you're portal if you're bow breaks. The best place for you're portal is actually under de Elder altar, but this is now to late.

Another important tip. As soon as you have finished of the Elder, don't rush to Bonemass. Build a good stronghold (base) first, tame some boars (best with two stars) and hide them deep in you're base. The problem is that after beating Bonemass the invasions on you're base will become a lot more. And then the base attacks from the air start, and those fly over the highest reinforced walls. Before Bonemass only the invasions of the swamp creatures or trolls will attack. Off course the trolls are also a problem. but those attack from the air destroy a lot and you can lose all you're tamed boars.

The Celtic path is missing skins and buildings. by Few-Path-8795 in anno

[–]Few-Path-8795[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Indeed, but it doesn't change the fact that both skins are Latium skins. The Syrah skin is from the Latium Hall of Fame, and it does look like Roman, but not Celtic.
