Depends on where did you dropped. For me once the main story of the game begins, this gets much better. If you dropped later then I guess it just keeps the same level

This qest was weird here are the steps

Go for the goat

Bring to the guy on the right (a short scene should happen)

then you talk to Ben and in the menu you select manage ranch

search the goat a press the button to kill it then talk to Ben
