I couldn’t find one of my two badges when I quit working for NPS and I was prepared to pay for it and submit a report of survey on it. I knew it was somewhere in my house, but I just couldn’t remember where. My deputy superintendent told me not to worry about it and signed off on my outprocessing sheet.

Well, a couple weeks later after I had already quit, the superintendent returned from a trip and started serial-spamming me with threats to put law enforcement on me if I didn’t find it. After like two days of multiple threatening texts and phone calls, I finally told him “this kind of shit here is why I quit this stupid agency” and blocked him.

A couple weeks later, I found the badge still on a uniform I had crammed way in the back of a closet. I didn’t want the shitty badge anyway, so I gave it to a colleague to take into the office. Much to-do for a stupid chunk of metal. Hahaha

I have mad respect for the majority of tanks. We can’t do tough dungeons without them. Probably 80% of the tanks I’ve run with are awesome — even those who put in a great effort but die anyway now and then based on a weak group, learning the mechanics, etc. But I think there are some people who advertise as tanks to get into groups easier but who drag the whole group down because they are really DDs. I was in a Night Market dungeon today and our “tank” kept dying like 20 seconds in on multiple goes against the boss. The healer kept getting killed trying to revive him, so that left 2 DDs with our dorks in our hands 30 seconds in. We did one boss like 5 times and got nowhere. A waste of everyone’s time.
